InSoFast

  I

InSoFast is a non-structural panel installed on masonry block or  poured concrete surfaces.  The masonry block and concrete surfaces must be structurally sound.  The InSoFast panel is bonded to the masonry block or concrete surface with construction adhesive as per manufacturer's recommendations.

Amvic ICF

Unique Features

Amvic is the most user-friendly ICF on the market due to its innovative design which increases speed of construction, reduces labor costs and provides the highest level of performance during and after installation.

The powerful combination of the patented, reversible FormLock™ interlock, EPS composition, innovative web design and web spacing result in:

  • Nominal taping, tying or gluing during installation.
  • Less than 1% waste vs. up to 6% for most competitors.
  • Ability to withstand internal vibration, ensuring a structurally superior wall.

In addition, Amvic is the strongest form on the market as proven by the Canadian Construction Material Center (CCMC) Forming Capacity Strength Test (Technical Guide 03131) at 865 lbs./ft2.

AmDeck System

The AmDeck® Floor & Roof System is a modular, lightweight stay-in-place form made of Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) for construction of concrete floors and roofs. Unlike many competing products, the Amvic system is assembled using small, standardized, lightweight modular units which make the system much easier to use and handle. The Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) used in the system provides built-in continuous thermal insulation and reduces noise travel from one story to another.

The System utilizes 10 inch, lightweight steel framing studs that carry the temporary construction loads and act as furring strips for interior finishing. As a result, the shoring requirements are minimized and can be placed up to 20 feet on center. This is four times less than the shoring required for competing products which results in significant cost savings. One-way concrete floor/roof joists formed with this system can span approximately 30-35 feet. Spans greater than 40 feet can also be easily achieved using higher strength concrete and post-tensioned reinforcing cable strands.

Overall, the system is very well engineered and easy to use. The structural strength of the reinforced concrete plus the EPS insulation R-value of 20+ make AmDeck TM a perfect addition to your next project.

Amdeck features

Enables Shoring Spans over 20ft
The AmDeck® Floor and Roof System implements full 10" deep lightweight steel joists (Gauge 12, 14 or 16 depending on application) to support construction loads.  As a result, the shoring can be placed up to 20 ft on centre which is four times less than competing products, significantly reducing construction costs.

Fully Reversible
The AmDeck® Floor and Roofing System is fully reversible, reducing labour time and construction waste on the jobsite

Provides Structure
One-way concrete floor / roof joists which are formed by the AmDeck® Floor and Roof System can span approximately 30 to 35 ft using normal concrete mixes and conventional reinforcing steel. Spans of greater than 40 ft can be achieved using higher strength concrete and post-tensioned reinforcing cable strands

Small Compact Units
Unlike competing products the AmDeck® Floor and Roofing System comes in standardized, small, lightweight modular units.  This means that the system is much easier to use and handle, since pieces are not as large and bulky.  In addition, required sizes also do not need to be pre-ordered since quantity can be adjusted to fit your project needs and leftover forms may be used for future projects.

High Performance
The EPS used in the green flooring and roofing decking system provides continuous insulation to your concrete floor or roof, which will provide you with an R-value of 17.8, or more depending on other materials used in conjunction with the system. The insulation is also highly effective at reducing the amount of noise that travels from one story to another.

Offers Protection
When used for roofs, the concrete decking will provide ample protection against natural disasters such as tornadoes, hurricanes, and fires with a fire rating of up to 2 hrs.
